Course Overview

Global Studies 9 is the first of your required coursework in social studies at the high school leve.  This course will lay the foundation for your ​success on the Global History II exam next year and the US History exam in 11th grade.

We will focus this year on gaining Historical Thinking skills of sourcing, contextualization, corroboration, and close reading.  These skills will help you to analyze sources and documents to determine what really happened in history.
