US History 11

Course Outline

US History 11 is a one year course that culminates in the US History and Government Regents examination in June.  In this exam, you will be asked to answer 50 multiple choice questions, 10-15 short answer questions based on documents, and write two essays.  This will all be done in 3 hours, much the same as you were asked to do during your Global 10 class.

This year, we are going to focus on the historical thinking skills, that will enable you to analyze information, make educated assessments, and eloquently argue your position on issues.
